Robert X. Perez
Website EditorMr. Perez is the website editor for PumpCalcs.com and a contributing editor for Pumps & Systems Magazine. He has over 25 years of rotating equipment experience in the petrochemical industry and holds a BSME degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, a MSME degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Texas PE license.
Mr. Perez is also an adjunct professor at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where he teaches the Engineering Technology Rotating Equipment course.
Bill B. Stark
Assistant Website EditorMr. Stark has over 15 years of electrical engineering and management in the Petro-Chemical plant design and construction including grass roots plants, retro-fits, and expansion of existing facilities. He has provided electrical designs for systems from basic relay logic control to advanced process control and SIL 3 emergency shutdown systems. Additionally, he has designed low and medium voltage motor control centers, substations, and power distribution systems.
Mr. Stark earned degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri - Columbia. He also earned an MBA from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. Mr. Stark is one of the owning partners of SFASoftware LLC, SFASoft.Com and PumpCalcs.Com
Josh I. Alley
Lead DeveloperMr. Alley has been developing web applications for over 7 years, leaning on his general programming experience of over 10 years. He also has over 6 years experience in graphic design and usability, and is able to design comprehensive information architecture for large-scale web applications. Mr. Alley has developed complete, complex web systems for numerous established businesses and start-ups.
Mr. Alley studied Computer Science at Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi.
Andres E. Fernandez
DeveloperMr. Fernandez has over ten 10 years experience developing Internet, server and desktop applications and holds both Microsoft and Macromedia certifications. A proponent of open source technology, Mr. Fernandez has implemented a wide range of solutions and has been involved with over a dozen system integrations for both large and small companies.
Mr. Fernandez earned a degree in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University in College Station, and a Master of Science degree from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi.
Maria T. Stark
Special ProjectsMrs. Stark has over 12 years experience in instrumentation / project engineering and operations of Petro-Chemical and Plastics facilities. Project management experiences include cost estimating, cost control, cash flow forecasting, project scheduling, design management, and construction contractor coordination.
Mrs. Stark earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from Texas A&I University, Kingsville, Texas.
