Single acting recip pump displaced volume, hp and piston speed

Toggle
  1. Given known process conditions, plunger stroke length and diameter, number of plungers, and strokes per minute, you can determine the displaced volume per minute and the required pump horsepower.
  2. The guide also determines if the plunger speed is excessive.
  1. These calculations are only valid for a single acting positive displacement pump.
